I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FM (San Lorenzo, CA)
Interview
Receuiter reached out to me and explained me how exciting this job opportunity is. I talked to her and then she provided me assessment tests which I did successfully. They set video meeting with me and explained me information on interview process. My interview was set on friday. I had to take a day off since I was told interview should take around 2 hours. I went there on Friday and had an 1.5 hour interview. The interview went well. Unfortunately they did not give any response after that. This is where I felt really upset since I had to take day off just for an interview and spent my hours talking to recruiter and giving assessments . They did not even bother me tell me why wasn’t selected for the job. I found out that I was not selected when I saw the post for same position again.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FM (Stockholm, Stockholm) in May 2016
Interview
I interviewed in Stockholm, Sweden for the position of a Client Processing Specialist. The Interview was with a member of the HR team from the office of the company in Windsor UK, because the position reports to their office. The process from application to invitation to interview took about two weeks, which is normal. However, less than 24 hours before the interview, I was notified that I will have to take a numerical test, which left me with little time to prepare. In the end, it turned out to be easier that I thought - percentages, conversion rates etc. The interview took about 1,5 hours. It generally went smoothly with general questions about yourself, work history and a lot of talking about what FM Global is doing. There would have been a second round of interviews with the Line Manager the following week. I was promised that I will be contacted to hear about their decision. Not only that they did not contact me prior to the 2nd round, but they did not even reply to my TWO emails asking what is happening and whether I can receive feedback to rectify my shortcomings. I consider this extremely unprofessional and it has changed my opinion on the company thoroughly. It feels like, if you are not their person, you are not a person at all.
