Interview
Homework, given a list of choices and one week to complete. I chose to create a simple restful web application and persist entities into a database. Took me two days. For bonus points you can wow them with newer technology and approaches to problem solving, assuming of course that you can justify your choice.
Came in for an interview, met with management and developers.

30 minute long interview in the university. Submitted resume in the career fair hosted on campus. Was called for an interview the following week. There were two individuals who interviewed me.
