I applied online. I interviewed at Faculty.ai (London, England)
Interview
Applied for the fellowship online. Consisted of an online coding test in Python. Those who pass with 100% continue to interview round. Interview is ~25 min and felt very much like I was one of 100 interviews. No difficult questions but you get presumably judged against a lot of people. So being able to concisely answer some technical questions about what you have done is good.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What did you do during your PhD? What ML did you use? Can you explain how that works?
I was asked to talk about my research and about a data science or machine learning project I had worked on. I was also asked what my strengths were, and what skills I had gained from my PhD.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about a project you have worked on, and some things you have learned from it.
First round is a coding interview. It was 4 questions with a mix of fairly easy to medium data science questions and one general programming question. The following/last round was less technical, while there were no explicit coding or reasoning problems, but I did have to explain my background and fit with technical depth.
