I applied in-person. I interviewed at Farmfoods (Ilford, England) in Jun 2014
Interview
The interview process was not long or particularly difficult. I have been handing out my CV to neighboring shops in and out the local area when I decided to hand in my CV to one of the staff members at farmfoods. I was told they were hiring at the time and asked if I could come in for an interview. I saw the store managers who asked questions about my CV. I was later asked to go on trial before I was giving the job.

Very quick, more like a conversation. Generic interview where they mainly spoke about what the role offers and asked very basic questions about my free-time hobbies, previous employment, customer service situations and what days/times I'm free.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Farmfoods (Leeds, England) in Jun 2026
Interview
This is for Armsley Farm Food Leeds.
Interview Experience
I was there around 15 minutes early, well ready for the interview. I was taken inside by who I assume is the manager of the store. Then I was just asked one question, that's it.
Then she was like, you will only get a call if you are selected, we don't have time to call everyone. Disgusting. I would have never gone there even if selected, it was like she already presumed my capabilities. It lasted 2 minutes.
If that was going to be the case, why do you even invite people?
Online applicationon Farmfoods careers Portal and answering basic questions to confirm availability right to work and basic experience, brief screening call, and a face to face interview with the store manager.
