The question was reasonable enough—perhaps *easy* (think two-dimensional array problems), I completed it quickly and with good communication, and by leveraging the AI code assistant smartly. Despite this, that was the end of the process. No idea what they wanted.

An introduction meeting with the hiring manager followed by a coding interview with another software engineer.
