I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ferguson in Apr 2018
Interview
Online video interview by yourself where you can answer questions and re-record them as many times as you like, then a phone screen and after, a final interview with a manager via phone. (Also heard, they could also fly final candidates out to headquarters for in person interviews with managers) Recruiters were very friendly and informative throughout the process.

Question 1
What do you know about Ferguson?, how competitive are you? questions based on long-term goals etc.
This was the most frustrating interview process I’ve ever had. I did the hirevue interview and then got invited to do a phone interview with Rachel Jansen. The phone interview was scheduled for May 15th and she never called so I sent a follow up, she apologized and rescheduled. The day of the rescheduled interview she once again didn’t call. I sent a follow up and never heard from her again until about 2 weeks later I received an automated rejection email. While now I’m grateful to not work for a company who has no respect for their potential candidates, it was extremely frustrating. The job market is really rough right now, so for a recruiter to do that is extremely disappointing.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ferguson (Florida Ridge, FL) in Aug 2024
Interview
Very thoughtful and through. I liked how they layed out how the program will set you up for the future and the different routes you can take over time. It was a long interview but good
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ferguson (Chicago, IL) in May 2021
Interview
I had a sit down with a few members of the organization and was asked a variety of questions. It was a great experience. They were understanding, but made sure to ask though-provoking questions
