Initially contacted me via email and text on a Monday. Sent questionnaire asking if I was over 18, could legally work in US, OK with commission sales… it said, based on my responses, a recruiter would be in contact with me shortly. I thought that meant like 24-48 hours. Nope.
Recruiter called me out of the blue at 5:55 pm on a Friday evening. I called back on Monday, she asked me the same questions I already answered in a prescreen questionnaire. Then asked about my background. Said we could move forward and scheduled an interview with the hiring manager for the following Monday. On Wednesday, I received a rejection email from ATS.
Trying to find a new career opportunity is stressful and filled with rejection. It’s takes a toll on you both emotionally and physically. It’s important to treat candidates with respect and kindness. They are going through a daunting process. This behavior from a large corporation is inexcusable.
