Emailed my resume in to Film Independent and got a response within a few days. Was offered either a phone interview or in-person interview and decided on an in-person. Took about 15 minutes. Was offered the position later that week.

Submitted all requirements via email and got a response fairly quickly. The assistant wanted to meet with me for an interview and although I lived like 50 mins away I agreed because I really wanted the position and would have to commute anyway. I arrived super early, met with the assistant and talked about my resume/experience. I explained all the projects I had been involved with and artists that I've helped managed so the assistant was suuuuper excited and easy to talk to so we had a very pleasant conversation. She then brought in her supervisor who seemed not as excited to met with me. She went over the Spirit Awards and the responsibilities of the intern. The supervisor never asked about me or my interests or experiences. A few days later I got an email saying they had chosen other interns for the position.
