I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at First Page Sage (Portland, OR) in Mar 2017
Interview
All interviewing was over the phone, since everyone at FPS works remotely. There were two interviewers: a content team member and one an account executive who dealt with clients. When asked, I described my work background and subject matter expertise. It was obvious that there was an immediate need for a writer who could cover certain technical topics. They threw the names of several technical subject areas at me, and asked what I knew about them.
I offered to write a paid sample. That went well, and I was hired shortly thereafter.
