I went through a lengthy five-round interview process at Fixify, including a final meeting with the CEO, and I was ghosted. While I was excited about the opportunity, the interview process itself was chaotic and poorly managed. There were multiple last-minute schedule changes, unclear communication about what each stage would involve, and surprise requests (like role plays) with little context or preparation time. I did my best to remain flexible and accommodating, even when it meant rearranging my own schedule to meet with senior team members. After investing significant time and energy into the process — and meeting with high-level executives — I was disappointed to receive no follow-up or feedback from the recruiter. Despite polite check-ins, I was ultimately ghosted. This kind of treatment is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful to candidates who take the process seriously and spend so much time interviewing. I’d caution others to consider this before pursuing a role at Fixify.
