Interview
Super easy process. Laid back at the restaurant. It was just the manager and I, he made me very comfortable and did not seem intimidating. He showed me around the restaurant and explained job description during the interview so I was well prepared.

Interview
The interview was pretty straightforward. I was interviewed on a Saturday by the store manager and an HR person, and the latter said nothing the whole time. The manager asked me quite a few questions, all standard interview questions, although it was probably overkill for a simple hostess position. I felt that I had performed very well at the end of it, and he invited one of his managers to give me a tour of the restaurant and a description of what my duties would be like. He gave me his card with his number on it, and instructed me to call on Tuesday at exactly 3PM. On Tuesday I called and was told I would be offered a position. During the interview I had stated that one of my weaknesses was that I could be shy when first meeting for important events (such as an interview). During this phone call however, he said "I need you to be outgoing Kathy instead of shy Kathy, all right dear?" I felt a little uneasy at this. No manager had ever spoken to me in such a manner before. However, I thanked him and felt excited about having a job. I went in the next day because I needed a form filled out for my children's daycare, so that I could potentially qualify for daycare assistance. He refused to fill out the form, stating that he could not "legally" tell me how much I would be making or how many hours I would work a week. I left the store and did not return. As a side note, I now have a new position, and my manager had no trouble filling out this form for me.
