I was referred to the architecture firm from a friend who interned there at the time. I sent recruitment my cover letter, resume, and portfolio via e-mail and within a day I received a response requesting a day and time for interviewing. The next week I had the interview with the design principal lasting for about 30 minutes which was very easy-going and discussed my skills in various software and types of projects which interest me. By its end, I was offered the internship and started a month later.
