I had already reserved time and prepared over the weekend, so the timing and lack of clear, transparent context made the candidate experience feel disappointing. Changes in hiring needs can happen, but earlier notice and more considerate communication would have shown more respect for candidates’ time—especially for a role focused on engagement and wellbeing.
