      Administrative Assistant Interview

      Apr 13, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Aventura, FL
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Forest Travel (Aventura, FL) in Apr 2015

      Interview

I originally applied online. Then I was contacted via telephone the same day; the person who contacted me was very professional, cordial and knowledgeable. I was then scheduled for an interview onsite, which went very well. Company did show an interest even though I do not have travel experience, executives are very willing to train on that aspect. I honestly did not find my interview process unfair nor unprofessional. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a very pleasant front desk, I was given an application with approximately 6 pages, however did not ask extreme questions. I did find the application to be brief, to the point and details were very understandable. I then proceeded to meet with the CEO, who was very professional, down to earth and very informative. It created a very pleasant experience, very relaxed environment. It has only been about Two days since process began. I am aware there were more interviews scheduled, so I still consider my chances of employment on a higher potential level. Still waiting. I feel very good about the possibilities due to the fact that it was a very honest and positive interview process on both ends of the discussion table. Overall, a GREAT interview experience, if not the BEST one I have ever had.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions had an overall concentration on my professional experience. A personality test was a part of the process; Which I personally found very interesting and very good for both sides. I find that besides having a strong knowledgeable background, personality plays an immense part of how a person would fit within the environment management is creating in any professional setting. It helps create an environment on many aspects, experience in addition to positive attitudes, self motivation and aspirations are also wonderful qualities. I honestly do believe that when you have a staff that is motivated, positive and simply generally happy, everyone does pull their own weight as well as takes responsibility overall. I have had experiences in the past, where you actually work with very highly educated and experienced individuals that unfortunately are just miserable human beings; this created an unbearable environment to work in. It always reaches a point when you honestly can't think of how much potential your employer has, it literally becomes such a negative workplace that you have no other option then to just leave it, it also makes you a unproductive employee out of you.
