From a potential candidate’s perspective, they have left an amazingly bad name out there. I had 2 rounds with them plus one initial meeting with their external headhunter for a sales position. All went super smooth and positive until it wasn’t. That’s when I had to ask for the feedback and next step after round #2, the headhunter brought up the news of an extra round. After a short while she informed me that they have surprisingly decided to move on with the other (only) candidate. Does that mean the only other candidate is having round #3 alone? She said the hiring manager was on leave so someone else-who has never been involved in my process- will give me feedbacks. Of course it was one of those general feedbacks that provided no value and couldn’t close the gap of my expectation vs the result. I sent a message to the hiring manager to ask for constructive feedback but only received silence. It was all very underhanded. I’d probably give a direct feedback to their CEO or upper management when I bump into them in one of those industry events.
