I had a 30 minute Zoom interview that was filled with technical difficulties on their end that they finally fixed with about 5-10 minutes left in the interview. I feel as though I was not given a fair opportunity to share more about myself, as there was a lot of lagging and moments of disconnection. It would have been a much better experience if they had one, rescheduled until they had fixed this problem, and two, if they did not want to hire me (totally understandable, sometimes you’re just not the right fit for a role), then they could have messaged me to let me know. Especially seeing as the reason the interview did not go well was because their connection was off. This is a small boutique firm, not an MWW or Edelman. Give some respect to the people who are trying to start their careers by at least having the courtesy to not ghost them. Hopefully, they will handle their interviews better in the future!
