Recruiter referred me to the company. First interview was an over-the-phone interview. I spoke with the lead engineer. Very nice and knowledgeable person. I really enjoyed our conversation.
Next step was a coding challenge. The asked me to take my time and to complete the challenge thoroughly. I had made a submission, but with a few questions. It wasn't entirely complete. In fact the solution was in place, but it still needed comments, cleanup, and a bit more test cases. They decided to test it as is, even though I only spent an evening on it. So much for taking my time.... For those who interview and make it to the coding challenge, be thorough with your questions beforehand. Do not commit your code until you are completely done.
