Fuse Washington interview questions

I was contacted for a phone screen in a timely manner after applying. About a week later, I was contacted for a first round interview, and was told the next step was a second round interview. They requested my references and contacted all three. Then I was rejected. Very frustrating to have my references contacted with at least one interview (and possibly more) remaining in the process.
