The first interview call was a recruiter call of 45 min broken into 2 segments. First half for interview and second half for assessment.
Recruiter didn't seem interested since the beginning, didn't have much expectations.

Why Fusion Homes and walk me through your career journey?
The interview process was unnecessarily long given the level of role and the size of the organization. For example, I had multiple interviews and assessments, and I was told the next stage could be another assessment/presentation, which is all too excessive for a non-managerial position. From my own research, it appeared they may have been looking for Business Partner level of experience but at lower pay.
Additionally, some of the interview questions were invasive and unnecessary. For example, I was asked about my current salary, RRSP and bonus details, as well as questions that probed into confidential situations and why certain tasks/projects were in collaboration. Despite keeping my answers appropriate for an interview, the level of probing went beyond what seemed necessary for the scope of the role.
Overall the experience left me with the impression that the expectations and compensation were misaligned. In the end, it didn't work out, but I believe it would not have been the right fit.
