Inefficient 3-Stage Process: The lengthy interview structure felt unnecessarily drawn out and disorganized, wasting candidates’ time with repetitive evaluations.
Unprofessional Final Interview: In the final interview the interviewer arrived 15 minutes late, demonstrated clear disinterest, and rushed through the session.
Repetitive & Disengaged Questions: Despite providing detailed answers about my projects in prior rounds, the same questions were rehashed. My attempts to elaborate on relevant experiences were dismissed.
Rushed Closure: The interviewer tried to end the meeting early and initially forgot to invite questions, forcing me to ask if I could seek clarification.
Poor Communication: Post-interview, I was told to wait 1–2 weeks for feedback—a delay that felt dismissive after such an unengaging process.
Lack of Respect: The entire experience left me feeling undervalued as a candidate. If the team wasn’t genuinely interested, why proceed to a final interview?
Advice to Management:
Streamline the recruitment process to avoid redundant stages.
Train interviewers to respect candidates’ time (e.g., punctuality, active listening).
Improve communication timelines and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a culture of professionalism; candidates deserve engagement, not indifference.
