I have applied twice for similar vacancies in the group at different branches. They say they will get back to you within 2 weeks after receiving your cv and application. For the first one I heard nothing for 3 weeks. I sent them a follow-up email to just find out if there was any progress. Within 2minutes, I received an email back to say my application was unsuccessful. This seemed a bit dodgy, but I let it ago.
I applied once again for a different vacancy in December 2024 and received a telephone interview on 20 December. I think it went well and the lady I spoke told me that she would speak to the operations manager for that area for a one to one interview in the week between Christmas and New Year which was perfect as I was on leave. I saved the number I was called from and the name. I left it when I did not hear anything that week as I understand it is a crazy time and everybody is busy. During the second week of January I called that number. The lady who I spoke to then informed me that the original interviewer had "resigned" and she would look into it and call me back on the number I phoned from. It is now middle March and haven't had a call or email from anybody. This company is terrible. It seems they ghost applicants which is not a good image.
