Received a quick screening call where I was then asked to come in for an interview the following week. Interview was a total of about 2 hours & was pretty straight forward. Included a presentation on the apprentice program, a nice informal conversational interview with a higher up, and a simple technical exam.
Was a group interview with 4 people from the field engineer team. They asked a lot of behavioral questions, work experience, why i wanted to work with GE, and look at different diagrams.

Question 1
What tools would you use for the pictured screws? Point at the LED light in this circuit diagram?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GE HealthCare (Houston, TX) in Oct 2016
Interview
Received a call from an HR representative, about 2 months after applying, to set-up a phone interview with 2 associates. A field engineer and a director of service. The interview was scheduled to about 3 days after the first call.
The interview itself was fairly straight forward. There were basic behavioral questions (e.g. How did you overcome hardships in your past job?) and job related questions (e.g. How will your background be applicable to the position?); nothing too technical though. Maybe 5 or 6 questions total (30-45 minutes). After this, they get back to you in a few days if you make it past the interview stage.
