I applied through other source. I interviewed at GE Vernova (Veresegyház, Pest) in May 2019
Interview
It very much works on the base of who knows who, not necessarily your skills or experience at least to the team I went to. Because I knew someone, the interview was just a courtesy.
Good interview process, clear, clean, and fast. Once they decide they like you they'll move quick to ensure they secure their talent, and then the company will work to keep you

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GE Vernova
Interview
Interview was simple due to previous experience. 1 Lunch interview with the manager and then follow up phone interview with the Regional Manager.
Hiring - not so simple. Due to "potential" non-compete issues (of which there were none), they required that I notify current employer of my desire to leave so they could clear the non-compete. All before an offer letter. Due to my desire to leave, I was ok with it, but it put me in a very precarious situation.

It was really just a conversation and not something that was difficult.
