Interview
The interview was in 2 rounds and both online (Zoom). 1st round with internal panel with faculty and HOD. Self intro for 2-3 mins, ppt for 12-15 minutes and 10-15 mins of Q&A. Technical questions on subject by subject expert faculty.
Confirmation of selection mail received in 3 - 4 days with request to submit a bunch of documents - edu, exp, aadhar, etc. along with one RECOMMENDATION LETTER which was surprising. A ppt on research or any topic of your choice. I prepared on my favorite and contemporary topic.
Round 2 with panel containing senior professors (only names revealed but not known from which institution or University) one of them mostly faceless on screen most of the time. again 2-3 mins of self intro, 10 mins of ppt presentation and 8-10 mins of Q&A. Questions were technical but the profs insisted on textual words instead of explaining the concept in own words.

Nice procedure for taking interview, less hectic, faculty is nice and friendly and very supportive for new freshers.
Asked questions from your speciality. Publications are must and phd will add more strength to your CV
