I was interviewed by 5 people (including HR ), had multiple tests which I passed all. One of the interviewers was a hardware person and I had a very upleasant expreience with him. he didn't let me speak, he was extremely cynical and arrogant and tried to turn each word I said against me. He asked me many hardware questions and was surprised that I don't understand hardware even though I never said I understood hardware and that wasn't any of the job's qualifications), they also spoke with my recommenders. They told me that the current software architect was leaving and that it was his last week and they needed someone immediately to take over and start working so the knowledge of the leaving architect wouldn't be lost. After all those tests and meetings, they called me and said I was about to have a meeting regarding the contract. An hour later, the they called again and said the the interviewer (who had nothing to do with the proposed role) wanted me to come and do tests (again). When I told the HR that I didn't agree to those terms and wanted to talk to the CEO, she told me that it was not acceptable at all and the meeting with the CEO was only out of "respect" to me and nothing else . She told me that I should be happy that they'd decided to test me again. When I continued insisting talking to the CEO she told me that we should part our ways. The process was extremely hurtful, humiliating and degrading to say the least. I got the impression that this company cares less about its candidates, and I hope that one day they will give more respect to their candidates
