      Content Writer Interview

      Mar 20, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Austin, TX
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at GT School (Austin, TX)

      Interview

The process felt very impersonal and AI-ified. I went through a long problem solving test (SAT/IQ test vibes) and then a sample work test (developing a lesson plan on a specific subject) before getting the opportunity to speak to a human (6 months later). When I did, it was posed as a 'casual conversation' but recorded on Zoom and very stiff. I asked what the work culture was like and they seemed not to know what that meant. Interviewer replied that people are "mean in Google Docs comments."
