1. I had to wait for 30 mins for the interview to start off from the scheduled time.
2. First round was friendly & nice, it was fine & easy with nothing much to ask.
3. Second round was absolutely rude.. he did not greet me at all, was unfriendly & straight away asked me to tell me about myself & started to ask me to write programs. This is very shocking.. And then he says he joined a few months back & brags about himself talking about his achievements & then what was shocking is he tells me right now the present team is not good & compares them to scrap & he plans to eliminate half of them. He says proudly that from the time of his joining he has cut short the QA team size & plans to continue to do so as thats his objective. I understood that he does not value the present team which has been with the company for so long. I was dejected here & wanted to leave if this is how they treat their present employees.
4. Third round, the only thing I understood after talking with him was he wanted a puppet who could just nod at what he says & this person reminded me of the so called bureaucratic babus with an attitude. He also said that he plans to pull down the size of the team from the present to half. No way.. I don't want to be here & I think I did a mistake coming here. in the first place.
5. No questions on management & team building at all. I don't think they need a QA Manager but need Programmers & Programmers only as all the questions went around programs.
6. I did some homework on this company and got to know that the previous 2 sets of QA Managers were asked to leave. The employees here are highly unstable & insecure. Firing is a very frequent thing & recently the entire automation team in one of their US offices was fired abruptly and also got to know that the HR is very hostile here & they don't treat their x-employees with dignity. Good that I read all the reviews on Glassdoor.
7. No wonder the job portals are filled with GSN employees resumes for a job change.. Feel sorry for them.
God bless..
