I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gapstars (Colombo, Western) in Mar 2023
Interview
I was contacted by one of the Gapstars recruiters (Avasha). She gave me all the information I asked about the client, working environment, culture and technologies. First, I had an interview with one of the Gapstars Engineering Managers. It's more like a discussion than an interview to get to know about my technical and communication skills. Then, I was assigned a Technical assessment from TestDome software. This was 30 minutes assessment and I have to score above 80%. There were some practical questions and some MCQ questions about manual testing and test automation. Then I had a client interview. It was a panel interview including the customer CTO. Avasha encouraged me from the very beginning and throughout the entire interview process and she's very friendly. She's a technical recruiter with a good knowledge of test automation as well. Even though it was a stressful time for me, I had a great experience with Gapstar's interview process. I'm grateful to Gapstars for giving me this opportunity.
