I applied online. I interviewed at Genomics England in Apr 2022
Interview
Applied directly and was asked to do a timed test. Was then invited for a screening interview, where I learned that they are not as flexible in terms of remote working as stated in the job description. A second interview was to follow but I withdrew my application as the in person requirements were not suitable for me.
Overall, the application process could do with more transparency, as I was unaware how many interview stages there would be.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Genomics England
Interview
The process consisted of a screening call, timed test and final interview with a presentation. All were conducted online. It was not particularly difficult. There was a long time gap between the screening call and final interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Genomics England in Mar 2024
Interview
The process was relatively well organised. Started with a screening interview with talent acquisition, then an interview with a senior bioinformatician, followed by an offline coding test. There would have been a final panel interview but I didn't get that far! There were mostly standard bioinformatics questions on the test, but time is pretty tight.
