2 formal interviews, 2 presentations for the technical interview (1 hour total) with initial meet and greet interview. Although advertised as a geoscientist you don't seem to do any geoscience work, I was asked how handy I am with a spanner...in case their world class core logger breaks on site, no really...After 2 hours of interviews I was never contacted again, not even a rejection (says it al really) I was not sold on this company and not convince of the progression potential without marrying a manager or similar, I feel they are looking for fresh graduates who will be grateful to receive a low salary for non-progressive monkey work that makes the steak-holders pockets swell. Again another geoscience consultancy offering outdated services marketed as "Innovative" that are simply not wanted and add no value to any client with any shred of business acumen. Would not accept based on what they offered as compensation for basically, manual labour work and clear lack of professional development. Simply put, if someone spends 2 hours over 2 interviews prepping pointless material and you simply ghost the candidate, it's probably a sh*t place to work. All the people there seem to have no experience outside of the 4 walls of geotek and are now all actual family, you will have to stay for a long time to progress, all these small geoscience businesses are similar with their favouritism and loose ethics so beware.
