My hiring process consisted of 3 meetings:
1. Introduction - CV overview, personal plans, etc.;
2. Technical - in my case, more about my experience in UAS/UAV development, communication protocols, debugging, different autopilots/ground control systems and additional skills/projects;
3. Face-to-face at the office - more about "Do you fit the current business process?" which, in small/medium-sized startups, means "Are you a fully autonomous employee or you not?" and "Be ready to cover any additional duty besides yours in your project". But it`s fine if you're interested in UAS/UAV theme and eager to learn new tricks.
