I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GlobalFoundries (Malta, NY) in Apr 2010
Interview
Interview was typical, they used a behavioral interviewing style. They also asked technical questions that applied to the position I was interviewing for. They did not meet my expectations when I asked about how they felt about a workers needs. Meaning do they believe that making sure the needs of the employee are important to running a successful business. Also were not clear on how they solved root cause issues utilizing data or statistical tools. If a company does not value there employees and they solve problems by gut feel, red flags go up everywhere for me. I find that scenario leads to never understanding what the expectations are therefore never being able to meet those expectations.

Interview
The interviewer appeared completely disengaged during the entire interview. No reaction, minimal interaction, and little effort to create a respectful atmosphere. It felt like I was never seriously considered, which was disappointing.

Interview
Interview process took about 45min and the supervisor doing the interview was very nice. Ensured that I understood what the job is about. Most questions asked was quite generic and he just wanted to find out if your personality was a match for the company.

Interview
Not stressful, rather standard but non-exhaustive interview questions. Interviewer was kind and allows you to speak freely and comfortably. As long as you've prepared, it should not be difficult. First they ask to share about your resume experiences, then they share with you about the role.
