Initially hesitant due to a Glassdoor review suggesting the company utilizes applicants for free consultancy through technical assignments, I decided to proceed with my application nonetheless.
The interview process began smoothly with a discussion with a person from the marketing team. Following this, I received confirmation of advancement to the next stage but was required to complete a technical assignment beforehand. This task involved crafting an email marketing strategy, among other components, which consumed three days of effort. Upon submission, I received positive feedback and was scheduled for a subsequent interview with 2 members of the marketing team.
Regrettably, following this interview, communication ceased. After reaching out, I was informed that another candidate had been selected. While disappointing, I accepted the outcome. However, my disappointment turned to disillusionment when I noticed the company reposting the same job position on LinkedIn the very next day.
This experience corroborated the concerns raised by another candidate in a previous review. It appears the company indeed exploits applicants for free work under the guise of technical assignments. My advice: steer clear—it's a scam.
