Rejected at the recruiter screen because I didn't have experience with kubernetes, airflow, or tensorflow, since I worked at a FAANG that didn't use these but used identical counterparts. I've interviewed at a lot of places but being rejected for that was a first.
I applied online. I interviewed at Goldbelly in Jan 2024
Interview
Spoke to a recruiter on-line and then they give you a take-home problem about personalized ranking. It wasn't that difficult, but I think I took a different take on the problem based on past experience. Maybe that was a mistake in retrospective. I got a rejection, but received no feedback. What I didn't like was the exercise felt that they were picking your brain for ideas and code. If they are going to ask for a write-up, the least they could do was offer some minimal feedback.
