I applied online and I had an interview via Hangout, the interview was canceled the same day at the appointment, afterwards another interview was scheduled and unfortunately the recruiter did not call and the appointment was reprogrammed and this time, there were technical problems with Hangout on the side of DeepMind and we made a 9 minute phone call!
and the next day I received a negative answer, I am disappointed with this issue because I am convinced that the post corresponds to my profile!

There will be one coding round and one ML round, and each round will last one hour. The ML round mainly consists of oral questions about core machine learning concepts.

7 -9 rounds depending on candidate. The rounds involved 1-3 scientists taking test on leetcode style questions, AI fundamentals, Transformers, Finetuning, Training approach of large models like Gemini, Deepseek etc.

Interview
Overall, nine interviews with various people in different departments, was not told to prepare anything in advance. One was a specialist technique interview which afterwards I was told was to be the main purpose of the role but this was not on the job advert.
