8-10 rounds. I pulled out after 7th/8th.
Good things:
- Communication with HR team was streamlined, they got back to me in a timely manner during the interview process
- I was made to feel welcome during the collective interview days
Cons
- One hangout interview ended awkwardly, there was no goodbye...more of ok, I'm done with my questions. A sentence to explain that someone will reach out to me for next steps in x days would have been appreciated.
- I was asked the same question 3-4 times. It concerned me that note sharing was not happening
- Noticeable lack of diversity within the org
- I struggled to connect the dots in how the interview process worked. There was a group activity, a few 121s, single person exercise - but nothing connected this together
- The role felt partly like an admin role and I wish they were honest about this but none of the specialists was able to consistently answer my question of what this role looks like every day
- When I asked for feedback after removing myself from the interview process, I had to chase 3 times and got the notes 2.5 months later. The notes were feeling based rather than providing concrete examples and this really made me feel frustrated. For an organisation that has so many rounds of interviews, it's really important to provide evidence based feedback as that information will be useful for the individual who gave up so much time for the process.
