I have never complained about an interview on a review site until today. I had an interview and one of the first things that was said was “This doesn’t have to take the whole hour.” It seemed as if the interviewer just wanted to honor the interview and get it over with as fast as she could. I have a job and I am busy, and I took time out of my day to interview with this company. I prepared for an hour and even wrote down a few questions that I had because I was really interested in the role. I also have 10 years of experience in client services. After about 15 minutes of the interview, I was dismissed informing me that “I am not the right fit for the position because of my experience.” She didn’t even ask me about my experience working with national clients. I had to object and explain some of my experiences working with them before she got off the phone with me. She didn’t even give me a chance to ask any questions about the role or the company. It’s the first interview that I ever had where the interviewer didn’t ask me if I had any questions. This was the most unprofessional interview that I have ever been part of. I am happy that I ended up not working for this company.
