Normal academic interview. The problem is they ask for at least three years' commitment with them. I refused to commit for so long. The salary offered was also not as good to commit for a longer duration

It was just about the number of publications. No discussion on subject-related qualifications. They just want research papers; that too is about quantity, not quality. There were no subject experts on the interview panel.

It was a very streamlined process and questions were very relevant. The goal was to assess the overall suitability. It was a two-way engagement as all doubts regarding the position were also satisfactorily answered.
