Interview
I took part in a discovery day. It was a 9-5 Session where we would be screened through multiple phases.
Phase 1) Introduction to recruitment - here they are just testing your general knowledge, interaction and confidence
Phase 2) Sales pitch - you will be expected to stand up and do a sales pitch on why you are a good suit for the role. - Here they are testing confidence, communication and transferable skills
Phase 3) Phone Samples - Here you will get a script and a call log of real candidates to call through to test your phone communication
Phase 4) Manager + Director 1:1 Interviews

Question 1
Most questions are around motivations, what drives you, why recruitment etc.
Pretty bad conduct unfortunately. They ghosted me after the first interview. Strange of them to assume that it’s acceptable to ghost people instead of just informing them they’ve been unsuccessful.

Interview
Was sourced out by their talent acquisition team. They will prepare you for the interview with the hiring manager which was quite nice and sincere. Interview with the hiring manager involved a series of questions testing your motivations to join the recruitment industry. Follow up post-interview was quite terrible though. Arranged for a post interview catch up call with the recruiter who reached out. A call that was meant for the same day was postponed to tomorrow only for that call to never happen as well. After 2 weeks, the call still has not happened even though the same recruiter said they will get back to me.
