      Customer Success Manager Interview

      Jan 13, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Gravity Sketch (London, England) in Jan 2026

      Interview

Their hiring department has reached out to myself very enthusiastic about an interviewing for the position. The initial interview went well as I've had 14 plus years working as a remote CSM in various SaaS both enterprise and startup industries. He then had me prepare an hour long presentation for the team including a slide PowerPoint in which all of their questions were answered throughly. The interview went well in which all of their questions were addressed with no remaining voids or misunderstanding about what was presented. He then sent me a follow up the second week with an email saying Hey (my name) and nothing else. When I responded to the email he let me know there was a glitch in their automated response which seems very unprofessional. In the followup he drafted where it had an actual response, He's mentioned, that they have decided not to move forwards with me as quoted "we’re looking for someone with deeper hands-on experience in leading change management within OEM environments, which is particularly important for this role at this time." This shows unprofessionalism on the teams end as none of the people in the hour long presentation kept track of how I have mentioned working for primarily manufacturing companies in OEM in my previous position. I felt as if the decision making process never paid attention to my past experience or any points I've declared on the presentation which took time and effort. The HR team is both very unprofessional and un attentive in their entire approach. I hope they learn from their mistakes and hire the appropriate person for the position as of now it seems none of the team members are qualified to do so.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Company A - Slow Rollout and Adoption Challenge: Despite initial excitement and enthusiasm from a few key users, the broader rollout and adoption of Gravity Sketch have been slow. Teams that were expected to adopt the tool quickly are facing barriers or not prioritizing the rollout, resulting in limited usage beyond a few successful pockets.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gravity Sketch

      Interview

Gaia from Gravity Sketch’s Talent &People team reached out to me on LinkedIn about a position, and even though I was not actively looking for a new challenge, I said yes to a call because her email was so well written, that it caught my attention and made me interested to learn more. I then had a call with her, where she shared more about the company, its vision and what they’re looking for, while also giving me insights about the company culture, which I find super important when looking for a new job. I feel like Gaia has a special talent for putting you in ease in an interview setting, and communicate clearly and with enthusiasm about the company and the role. I had a great experience in all the 2 other rounds of calls I had, and every time I felt the person on the other end is really knowledgeable, passionate and smart, who’s looking for a new addition to the team who can help them move forward with actionable steps and strategy. Gravity Sketch seems like a great company with an interesting product, and if you’re looking for something new where you can really make an impact with your work, I would recommend getting on board. At the end I decided to give my current job another shot, but I had to leave a review here, because this was the best and fastest interview experience I had for a long time.
