Grayson Sky interview questions

Three rounds, last round with owner. I was never told what the "Stipend" would be in the interviews. All the conversations were easy but it seemed like the owner was really desperate for a new employee but also wasn't "looking for a new employee right now," i.e. unpaid intern doing the same work load as full-time employees.

After 3 meetings they said they'd love to work with me and would like to do sub contracting work first. I follow up 2 times (a week apart) and they ended up never responding, completely ghosting me. Weird because they acted like they wanted to move forward, but I also would’ve appreciated feedback if they denied me. They were very friendly at first, but I find this really unprofessional.
