I was contacted by a recruiter for a Teams interview with the hiring manager on March 21, 2025. At the end of the conversation, I was told I’d be brought in to see the facilities after her two-week vacation. I never received a follow-up and had to reach out multiple times—first to the recruiter, then the hiring manager, and finally to both. On May 14, I was informed that the role and budget had changed, despite the same job post remaining active. I was also told I was overqualified, though salary was never discussed and wasn't part of my application. The lack of communication and transparency throughout made for an unprofessional experience.
