I have never had a worse interview experience. I made it to the 3rd round and received extremely positive feedback throughout. I spent ~10 hours on an at-home assignment, and in the interview that reviewed it, the hiring manager told me how great it was and that the hard part of the interview process was over with only two interviews left. They said the recruiter would reach out to schedule these. After that, they ghosted me for over two weeks. When I finally received a call from a recruiter whom I had never spoken with before, she informed me that I was not the right candidate and that their company policy was to not provide any interview feedback, leaving me reeling over what could have gone wrong.
