I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HCVT (Santa Barbara, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
The interview consisted of a lot of behavioral questions. They weren’t too difficult and you will do well if you can hold a conversation. The interview was overall not too hard if you prepare.

Question 1
Tell us of a time you had to work with a difficult person and how did you overcome it.
I interviewed for the Staff Accountant 2024 position at HCVT. The experience felt more like the interviewer was focused on impressing her manager rather than conducting a balanced conversation. This gave me the impression that she was determined to prove her capabilities as a recruiter, which made it challenging for me to present my qualifications effectively. Additionally, I sensed a typical toxic corporate vibe during the interview process, even before being hired.
Interviews should provide candidates with the opportunity to fully demonstrate their strengths, ensuring a fair assessment for all. As a first-generation immigrant, I did not feel welcomed, especially when I was asked if I needed a visa to work, despite clearly stating in my application that I do not.
