I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HM Revenue and Customs (Cardiff, Wales) in Mar 2024
Interview
It was an online recorded video interview. It consisted of 4 actual interview questions as well as one unscored warmup question (what is your proudest achievement?), and others asking about your ID.
I had the fortune of seeing another glassdoor reviewer's interview experience in which they had written out the EXACT questions that I then faced. So top tip for anyone interviewing for the Customer Advisor role, it's likely that they have only created one video interview for that job role; the questions will be the same (for now!)

Question 1
Do you think it's important to adhere to processes at all times?
I applied online. I interviewed at HM Revenue and Customs
Interview
It was fairly straightforward, just recorded questions and you have like 30 seconds to answer them. It was 2 questions and pre recorded so no interviewer looking at you, just have a good internet connection
I interviewed at HM Revenue and Customs (Belfast, Northern Ireland)
Interview
Still in process but the process is smooth so far. post application their was online test and a interview following. overall it was quick and fast process.
so only pratice pratice and practice can help with interview which is pre recorded one
I interviewed at HM Revenue and Customs (Cardiff, Wales)
Interview
Pre-recorded questions with 2 mins thinking time and 4 mins response time. Kind of weird. You can prepare in advance as they provide the behaviours being assesed, but specific questions are not given in advance. Prepare multiple STAR examples for each behaviour just in case!

Question 1
Can't remember exactly; one about conflict resolution, one about a change of deadline, one about a time I helped someone.
