I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HM Revenue and Customs in May 2024
Interview
The whole thing was done online via a series of recorded statements in response to questions being asked. The questions are all strengths-based and it's emphasised that there are no 'wrong or right' answers. I have not yet received an offer from the interview. Answering in a STAR format is useful. There were four strengths based questions, one icebreaker, and one non-recorded question used as a mic and camera test.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
How would you respond to negative feedback from your manager?
Short fast and only 5 questions in total, it was weird since I never done a prerecorded video interview before. Between each question it gives you 2-3 minutes to prepare your answer so as long as you prepared or can think in your toes quick you’ll be fine.

It was fairly straightforward, just recorded questions and you have like 30 seconds to answer them. It was 2 questions and pre recorded so no interviewer looking at you, just have a good internet connection
