I first had a screening call with the director of human factors, who is based in Ohio, that lasted about one hour. She was extremely kind and insightful, and I was very excited about the company.
I was asked to then come for an in-person interview, for which I rented a car to drive to. Unfortunately, the staff could not describe the working environment well besides calling themselves a "family," which is a red flag to me. The director who was scheduled with me for over an hour only popped in for around 10 minutes and asked some quite offensive and elitist questions about a patient population I used to work with, asking if I found them "disgusting" like he did.
It has been a few weeks, and there has been no follow-up, not even about the $200 I spent to get to the office.
