It was a technical interview where I have to take a technical assessment. I was presented with a codebase. Navigating through the codebase was where I lost my composure. It was really a great experience for me

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at HackerRank (Bengaluru) in Apr 2021
Interview
I applied online. After a few days, got an email from the recruiter that profile was shortlisted and they'd like me to take a test on HackerRank.
There were three questions, 1 problem solving and 2 small react projects.
I was able to complete the whole thing. Next day, received a mail from the recruiter that I have cleared the test they'd like to move forward and wanted my to schedule the slots based on my availability.
NO ONE CALLED!
Recruiter started ghosting. I tried reaching out to him on LinkedIn, he went and saw my profile but didn't reply to the message.
Getting selected or rejected is one thing, but they should at least keep me posted with the updates. I spent 2 hours of my time attempting the test, and the company can't even send a mail or a phone call explaining the situation.
I am not sure what to make out of this situation. It was a very bad experience.
I hope they don't do this to other candidates who wants to work with the company.
