It’s almost like the HR guy was irritated he had to meet with me. If I could have ran out of this interview, I would have. But I had a recruiter working with me and I couldn’t do that to her. An entry level project engineer role - they were almost argumentative with me about my experience vs having a college degree. As a current female engineering student with 10+ years in construction they told me that a college graduate would “excel pretty fast” in the field with the technical side of things and seemed very weary of my not having my degree yet. I guess not having a degree keeps you from absorbing and learning new things.

Great company and really enjoyed everyone I interacted with there. They have a great team that is very supportive especially to new employees. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to work in the construction industry.
