The entire process consisted of 4 stages. Sending an application writing why you want this job followed by a written test,which is followed by a gd and pi, the last stage is the medical test. The medical test is a strict one so you have to be perfectly fit to clear this stage too. The written test has 3 papers of duration 75 minutes each and 15 minutes break in between 2 papers. First paper is adding,multiplying,subtracting decimal numbers without calculator. The second one is data analysis from a hawkins pressure cooker brochure. You have to answer a few simple questions with the help of the brochure. The last paper has 6 questions and you have to answer only 3 of them. The last paper is HR. Both GD and PI are equally important.

The overall process was very structured and time tested from almost 50+ years. The following are the major stages of selection: 1. Shortlisting of the application we send based on the application form and reasons on why you want to join Hawkins Cookers. 2. Written Test of the shortlisted candidates. 3. Document verification, GD and Panel interview of qualified candidates. 4. Medical Tests. SHORTLISTING: There is no specific format for the application form, however a best format suitable can be created. Reasons why you want to join Hawkins is to be hand-written and sent to Personnel Head. Shortlisting for written test takes 4-5 months. WRITTEN TEST: 1. Consists of 3 papers/sections of 75 minutes each with 15 minutes break between each paper. 2. 1st paper is reasoning of easy level 3. 2nd paper is based on a company product brochure that is given to us at the time of exam. 4. 3rd paper is based on English comprehension paragraph writing questions. GD & PI: 1. Usually group of 9 people are made in GD who discuss on a topic given by the GD board. The CEO, ED - F&A and Personnel Head observe our performance in the GD. 2. These 9 people now appear for the individual Interview infront of a panel consisting of the CEO, ED- F&A and Personnel Head. 3. Soon after the PI, we wait for 15 minutes and result declaration is done confidentially by one-on-one interaction to selected candidates. Selected candidates move ahead for their Medicals. (Out of 9, 4 got selected) NOTE: The panel interview while interviewing us had all our documents like application form, reasons why we want to join, our test paper answer sheets and educational documents copy. So being consistent is important as they easily cross check whatever you speak during the interview to check your integrity. MEDICALS: Usual corporate medical check up done by the company at its own expense such as lung test, ECG, piles test, eye test, ear test, BP test, Blood test, cholesterol test, sugar test, etc. are carried out for a full day. Those found with medical issues (usually 60 % people carry medical issues) are called again after 20-30 days for re-medicals. JOINING: Appointment letter is generated in 20-30 days after finding us fit in medicals.

Came across the recruitment notification on their website, it asked to send a copy of your CV and a written note on why do you want to join Hawkins. If you get selected you get a Email and Hall Ticket for Written test which consists of 3 papers which have Numerical questions simple one but numbers are too large, second will be balance sheet, invoice correction and last will consist of some essays.
